Rosalvo has a massage that fits every need, relaxation, pain relief, and overall well being. Mix and match or customize your time.
Even as young child in Brazil, my mother always approached health care using natural healing methods. This is why therapeutic massage was a perfect match as career choice for me. A career choice where I could use both a research based medical model and natural healing remedies to help others decrease pain, decrease anxiety and increase relaxation.
I graduated from Institute for Therapeutic Massage in 2012 and have been practicing massage for the past 8 years. I am trained in all modalities of massage, but specialize in deep tissue and sports massage.
I believe that there is a great need for getting back to better basic human contact. Somehow along the way, much of the communication and connection between people has been lost. It inspires me to see people recognize the need for therapeutic massage therapy.
Besides massage therapy, I enjoy working out, traveling abroad and a nightly glass of wine.

SWEDISH MASSAGE THERAPY
60 minute $80 ……………90 minute $110
The most common type of massage in the U.S. and also known as a Swedish massage or simply massage therapy. The primary goal of the Swedish massage is to relax the entire body and mind. Massaging the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart helps to increase the level of oxygen in the blood, decrease muscle toxins, improve circulation and flexibility while easing away tension.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
60 minute $100 ………………90 minute $135
Ideal for anyone who suffers from chronic pain or limited mobility due to athletic training, repetitive movement or overuse. This type of massage focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendon, and fascia (connective tissue surrounding muscles, bones, and joints). Involves slower strokes or friction methods across the grain of the muscle to achieve desired results.
WHAT IS SPORTS MASSAGE?
Sports massage is a little different in that it has a specific physical goal; to help prevent injury- or in the event of injury, to help heal it as part of a therapeutic program. It’s very different from a relaxing massage at a spa; it’s designed to work into the tissues to elongate.
Professional athletes push their body to the limit on a daily basis whether during off season training or during in season games. Expediting recovery is crucial to a professionals career and to their team. That’s why more and more athletes are incorporating Sports Massage Therapy as part of their rehabilitation process.
It’s safe, natural and in many instances, more effective once realized. Massage therapy can help speed up the healing process and prevents re-injury. Athletes who have regular sports massage therapy have benefitted by recovering fully from their injuries to preventing long-term problems.
This technique involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to decrease pain, restore motion, improve blood flow, strengthen the immune system, reduce muscle soreness, and improve nerve function.
